I have been making and creating at a steady pace this weekend
and I have to admit
I am rather chuffed with myself
sat here - coffee as always on a Sunday morning -
I have already made so many things - on a super cool budget from off cuts I had around the house
and finds that I have been grabbing hold of through my days
I LOVE seeing potential in items that would otherwise be popped into the rubbish/recycling
So - what projects have my busy hands been up to ?
As above - I got hold of some beautiful family photos,
scanned them in and printed them out on normal photocopy paper
You will remember - I have been saving jars whenever I can from coffee, sauces and jams
In one big hit I washed them out in SUPER hot water
and added some shower shine when swilling them out
turn them on their head - and they come out ultra shiny*

With your shiny jars
cut out your pictures
rub Prit Stick around the outer edges of a picture
lay on your lap
hold one of the jars over it
view through to gain the correct position
and press down - so that your picture can be viewed through the glass
I wrapped around some off cuts of ribbon and ties I had kept from another project
to which I had sewn some colourful and fun buttons
Next - get some tealights
Cut some gingham wrapping paper
and apply to the tealight using double sided sticky tape
Drop your tealight into your jar
and ta dah !!!!! - you have the MOST sentimental cosy evening lighting
I am REALLY hoping that it will be a dry night for the party - so that we can have these outside to burn away in the night air >.<

My next upcycle project - has been my upcycled Cath Kidston drink bottle holders

I had some wine holders from the supermarket
and rather than put them into the recycling
I thought they would do very nicely
to house my vintage style - Our Jeff's Fresh Lemonade -
( The labels I have made of my Dad's Vintage Lemonade look ACE - I will share them with you all soon )

Crazy Easy !!!!! - draw around the drink holder - and cut out
Next - with double sided tape - apply the wallpaper to the drink holder
AND .....

TA DAH !!!!!
..... with a quick stick of some gingham ribbon
the most colourful and adorable place for your guests to grab their bubbly drinks

My next project - my TOTAL fave !!!!!
My destination cupcake toppers
These will sit pretty on my world cupcakes that I will be making next Friday with Nancy Nooooo and Lolly Bebs
I got a list of the ten destinations that Lolly Bebs will be travelling to with DM,
added a heart mask in photoshop and printed out
( you could just as easily print out some maps - or cut them out from a book - and draw around with a heart cut out )

I cut some wooden cocktail sticks in half
pushed them in between the paper and backing card
and secured with - yes you guessed it - double sided sticky tape
I CANNOT wait to tell the girls about the cakes
they are THE best fun - and I can see the cakes in my mind
I know they will steal the show at the party

On the way home yesterday - I spotted a fruit box being thrown out from a greengrocers - NOT FOR LONG !!!!!
I popped it in the car - and happy brought it into my home to give it a bit of TLC

I had a roll of Sanderson Wallpaper that I got so cheap last weekend from a charity shop
so I cut it to fit the inside of the box
and to make foody treats look so inviting

With the application of some more wallpaper at the front
with a plain piece onto which I will be writing a message,
drawing pins in the corner
and a gingham ribbon flourish
all looking kinda lovely yeh !!!!!

I have had the most enjoyable time
and when doing things like this I totally lose myself - which I always believe is good for my busy mind

With my off the shelf purchases, Charity Shop and Car Boot Sale finds
and upcycling creations from saved bits and bobs costing next to nothing
my party plans are proving to be
Affordable, Thoughtful, Fun and Oh so Pretty
Today - sees me back taking photos of more items for my shop
my number one find being a vintage handmade woodland tapestry
Wow - A few chores too and this will prove to be such a productive and fab weekend
Enjoy your Sunday - and thank you for letting me share my making fun
>.<
