An Evening Drive

Sometimes you just have to get in the car together
after work
drive
chat
laugh and have just the one beer to see day to day life in a calm and happier way

Yesterday evening, Mr E and I popped to The Kings Arms in Cardiff

A super cute and cosy place

Definitely somewhere I would like to pop back to and eat ..... and sample some MORE beer

The beer was so tasty

Plus - there were quirky bits and breweriana that I fell in love with

Thanks Mr E - It was a simple and good time

Sunday Santa Strawberries

I am ADDICTED to strawberries and greek yoghurt
like
AAAAAddicted !!!!!

I saw these Strawberry Santas this morning and had to set about making some straight away

They are crazy easy, so much fun and healthy

You just need
Strawberries
Greek Yoghurt or Cream or Ice Cream
and for the eyes you can use small pieces of chocolate

These little fellas are going to be making an appearance throughout December I think

A Taste Sensation

I have not blogged about food for a while
but oh my sneaky detour on the way home this morning !!!!! -
I have just sat down to munch on a Tuna Crunch Baguette with Cappuccino

and sooooo looking forward to X Factor with another meal I love

200gm sliced chicken meat
200gm button mushrooms - quartered
100gm carrots - cubed
1 sachet cream of mushroom soup - mix with water
250ml water
100gm green peas
1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper 

7 out of 10 

Crazy Pancakes

LOVE (10 out of 10 of course)

and MY favourite

 

Pretty - Scrummy and going in my Tummy

3-4 tablespoons olive oil
5 large russet potatoes
12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 c grated cheese
coarse salt to taste
ground pepper to taste
small bunch chives - cleaned and snipped
sour cream -  optional

For me it is savoury EVERY TIME ;)
