Dustin Hoffman Day

 

I think Dustin Hoffman is so fabby

He is the ONE person in the whole wide world I would give my last Rolo to meet

I could list many reasons - (his super duper acting being one) - but above all
he just looks like the kind of guy you could strike up a convo with at the bar
and be talking and laughing for a joyful hour

I tend to be a bit canny in getting daft things to happen that I wish for
so
maybe
one day
in some strange way
maybe
I will meet Dustin
and
for now
I am going to sit later and watch a film or two of his as I work

It is super cold outside so film afternoon is the perfect tonic

Mermaids and a Holiday

I have come to realise
that I LOVE this time of year

Nobody has major plans
the roads are on a go slow
and there is the perfect excuse
with yucky weather
to curl up and watch movie after movie

I recommended
THE HOLIDAY
to my mate Crazy J
and I have to say - SHE LOVED IT !!!!!
and we texted each other THE whole way through
and she called me to discuss straight after .....
I still had tears in my eyes

That has to be good yeh !!!!

Then
TOTALLY in the mood
I watched MERMAIDS immediately after

Film Fest

  

The next few days
see me taking things a bit more easy
and planning my December at a leisurely pace.

Excercise
Healthy/Naughty food
cosy nights
short trips
sleep
chat
and internet time.

When I am in this nesty mood
films are a must
so I thought I would remind myself
of some iconic moments
within some of my favourites.

Trailer Park Boys ..... cos David said so

My sense of humour is rather healthy
stupid
and open to all things new

Yet

When something is recommended (this time by David) you are slightly hesitant to try it
I guess in case you don't laugh when someone has told you
'it is so funny you will laugh your socks off'.

So ..... Trailer Park Boys ..... 
watched
laughed
and LOVED
so much so that I have watched every series in a disturbingly short space of time
and now
I recommend it (heartily) to you .....
you will laugh far more of your socks off

 

especially when you meet Conky.

Off now to watch some more
but near the end ..... and kind of sad that I have seen most of them
I suppose I will have to watch them all over again.
