I've never been a huge fan of yellow - not sure why either

Making Art ... Making Happy

 

Give the girl a pen and look what happens !!!

It had to right ? !

I KNEW I would feel right at home writing and making um ... art I suppose

I am, I can truly tell you, IN my element

It is simple, fast moving and switches me off completely - good for the mind and soul

I listened to music today - creating these, taking photos, wrapping them and now that exciting bit, as they have been loaded up into the shop, to see if they sell

I will be making more today

The First of Many ..

I have been tempted to make loads this week but am being good and just chilling a bit

 

I am also liking the new look of my eBay shop due to their new templates, so I created a new icon to mark the occasion

OK - so years ago I used to write the menu sign for a restaurant I worked in and LOVED doing it !!! and for years people have told me I should write signs - so I am gonna give it a go ... Would love to know if you think my handwriting works and if you like it !!! Thanks so very much

So ... I posted that on Facebook yesterday to THE sweetest response

I can be a big head in lots of ways, very forthright and sometimes a little a hum very direct

Then, cue the shy girl - in some things I am very modest and compliments at times go in one ear, rattle around a bit and diffuse

I am not on some, 'poor me' rant, far from it, I guess I am very contrary and in lots of ways I hide, humble

With that said, finally, YES !!! I am going to be making signs and alike and writing

I know one dear person to me, pointed out I disguard the things I know naturally work - a bit like when I used to crumple up my drawings that weren't QUITE perfect - yep I was that girl

I am going to start simple as above and will be testing some very soon

Who knows what will happen - that is the exciting part !!!

Wow !!! What a Week

 

Wow !!! This week has been a tough one to get through

I have been hit by some nasty germ that has been flying around everyone and all I have wanted and needed is sleep

Not to complain - I can pack in lots of sleep at home - the days were pretty tricky though and required lots of Orange Juice and fruit to keep as on the go as possible

A tricky week, and a busy head, last night I just wanted to come home, put tunes on and make stuff ... So ... I did

It was just the tonic

Signs and Doorstops made from off cuts of wood - after a little sanding I added paper that I had in storage, garden twine and fixed in place with some knots, and drawing pins

 

Simple, relaxing and just right for a busy head

It is THE best time to hunt for treasures, to take photos and meet new people

Recently I have been travelling around and about gathering new items for the shop and having a ball in the process
