Taxidermy Pretties

I as you know - am fascinated by Taxidermy

 

It just occurred to me that this may be due to my very many super happy visits to The Natural History Museum with my Nan

 

I also have a deep love for the work of Joseph Cornell who heavily featured paper birds in his art

I have started to mess about with some ideas - the birds I have found are perfect and I am seeing how they look in the glass jars that I have saved

They are quirky - and I rather like them - I will show you more when sme are finished

this is super pretty. i love using birds as decorations at home, but my boyfriend thinks i go a bit way too overboard with it and i have to tone it down.

Ha ha - I had to remove birds from my lounge as mid soap TV show I counted around the room ... One ... Two ... Three ... Four ........ eeeeek !!! I have limited myself to four in this room - three flying on the wall and a gold parrot - ha ha - but I am longing for a flamingo at the moment - yep for the lounge too :) have a super Friday - dommie xxx
