I am loving the festive season
Fruit straws are my new love - I got some from the pound shop
They are such fun and you can easily give them a Christmas twist
I have managed to make so many handmade things for my home and for gifts already
that has been so rewarding and extra special
Yesterday I took a little Chritsmas drive to Chepstow to visit a friend in his shop
and it was a cute cosy place to browse, shop vintage and sup coffee
Then home ..... and I FINALLY made my shabby chic wreath
It HONESTLY made me smile as I made it
and I HAD to have a peek at it this morning in my PJs
I have to admit, I am highly competitive and I have THE best wreath in the town
he he - I wish I had made more now
but hey, maybe next year
AND
It cost me just a £1 plus items that I had to hand in my studio
!!!!! FAB !!!!!

My herb and flower boxes are my next venture, that I will be planting up just before Christmas day
The wooden boxes that I obtained
that were going to be thrown out
have been winking at me for months
They are going to look so mighty fine - I just know it
