My super thoughtful and beautiful cousin made me this purse
and yep - it is now my most treasured handmade possession
She even remembered with a name like Dominique
and a nickname Dommie
it is virtually impossible to get anything with my name on
(as a child I yearned to get a mass produced mug with my name on - and i still do)
She handed me my carefully wrapped gift
on a fabby day at my Nans with Nancy Megan
and I got rather tearful at how much time and love had been put into my gift
and that she had started making it while she was on maternity leave
..... just look at how many hours of individual stitches she put into it - wowzas !!!!!
I take it everywhere with me now
and safely store away coins in it for when I go to the car boot sales
in the sunshine - and last weekend ..... the pouring rain !!!!!
