He he ..... I received a little message from Lottie the other day
saying she has just finished her Take Five interview
after a weeeee while - and would I still like to use it
To which I replied ..... heck yes !!!!!
Here it is .....
1. What is the
most inspirational thing you have
seen recently
I was lucky enough to be shown a rail of beautiful handmade
clothes
from the 50's and 60's when in Oxfam a few weeks ago.
I was once again bowled over by the
effort that had gone into making these garments
and the fact that someone had
kept them for nigh on 50 years.
I
love that fact that someone had lovingly made them, lovingly worn them and then
lovingly kept them.
It enthused me
further to dress make.
2. Tell us
about a new tune/artist that has
had you dancing and smiling
I dance West Coast Swing and Lindy Hop and so here new tunes
that make me dance and smile all the time.
One of my current favourites to dance to is Paulo Nutini's
Pencil Full of Lead.
This just
makes me want to dance and sing and prance around like a loon.
As an aside I also LOVE Glee!!
I am a fully fledged Gleek
and putting one of their albums on never fails
to make me smile and sing – very
loudly!!
3. Do you have
yummy recipes/food finds you wish to share?
I have just started to subscribe to www.spoonfedsuppers.com –
a
fantastic idea where they send you a daily list of ingredients
and a recipe
that can be made in 30 minutes.
I
have only just subscribed so am yet to be able to comment on it
but when a
friend told me about it last Friday I had to give it a go.
4. Spring – THE
best season (I think) – what smell has lifted your heart?
The smell of salad, spring onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive
oil, balsamic vinegar.
The smell
of salads always reminds me of sweet spring days
blending into balmy summer
days full of lots of fun.
5. Tell us
about one of your most treasured possessions.
My most treasured possession is my wedding ring.
It's the
one thing I shall never take off and never be without
and it symbolises
everything that is wonderful in my life – my husband and children.
Are you
throwing up now??
Ha, ha, as
cliched as it is it is indeed true and I hope it forever remains that way.
