I have found another design joy
that I am rather in awe of and obsessed with of course ..... could I be anything else ?

Stuart Haygarth's work takes the everyday, inanimate object/s
the mass produced
the familiar
and transformed it as a collective into utter stunning exquisite beauty.

To me his TIDE light is pure heaven
and when showing one of my friends yesterday
who is into all things minimal and stark
he confessed
'it is my idea of hell but it is beautiful'

A contradictory compliment
but a very apt one I think.

so as crochet and I have never really goten on
maybe I will make up my own knitting pattern

I believe that this is what it is all about

all mediums of visual stimulus, creativity, showcases

and allowing our interest and curiosity to build

Pretty in Pink

Fo as long as I can remember I have been asked to create my kissy gifts in pink.

I have no idea why it has taken me so long
but I finally set about creating the artwork
enjoyed every minute

 

 

..... and now I have a cute little batch back from the printer.

They have printed them so well ..... I am over the mucking foon !!!!!

Must go as the orders are coming thick and fast
for these kisses
and once again the chaps are out buying the girls.

Yesterday

 

I woke up with the vague recollection of yesterday's post.

Goodness
I have to say that my words were not meant with anger
simply
from the heart and true.

I contemplated removing the post
but with the nature of blogs
documenting day to day life, thoughts and feelings
I feel that I should leave it there.

Today has been a quiet one.

With Valentine's Day coming up
I am surrounded by neat little bottles
hearts and boxes.

I adore this time
as not only do I sell the kiss gifts that you place you kiss into
but also I write the personalised messages for the other kind of kiss gifts.

The messages are so diverse
I love them all

I have expanded the range
and now have these little monkeys to add.

It is going to be busy
but so much fun !!!!!

New Direction

 

Phew ..... 18 hours later
with sleep
food
knitting
and watching Trailer Park Boys in between (you must see this ..... thanks Dave for recommending)
I am finally content with my new banners and the wee ones that I have made too for my sister's shop.

We felt the need to make the change as so much has altered in the last two years
(I cannot wait to show you an interesting post soon)
and things have shifted in direction radically
so it felt natural to alter our banners likewise.

Me being a fuss pot, have taken far too long
but am now sitting on my hands (well not quite as I am typing ..... doh me ha ha!!!!)
well in my mind anyway
so that I do not tweak and fuss with them anymore
as I have far too much to do today
and cannot wait to put my new products in the shop
including a vintage medicine cabinet
it is PURE JOY !!!!!
