Hi, I'm Peet Leather and I've just returned from a wonderful weekend of hat selling
at Made by Hand in Tredegar House, Newport where I met Dommie

 

 

Loved the warm Welsh welcome and all the hat play on my stand -
expect to see lots of distinctive Peet Leather hats in the Newport area - really hope to return next year

 

Lots of truly exciting and inspirational work on the other stands too ...

 

 

What is the most inspirational thing you have seen this month ?

 

Not been out because of mad hat production so -
my daughter's photographs and paintings for our recent show
(Ejan Dalal Hahn - see www.redpropeller.co.uk) - she constantly excites 

 

 

Tell us about a new tune/artist that have you been listening to throughout 2011

 

Loving Johnny Cash - anything - it's kept me in full-on Hat production .. 
and driven everyone out of my workroom 

Do you have any yummy recipes or food must haves you wish to tell us about ?

 

Chicken pot-stewed whole with dill mmm - would love to know the recipe but my lovely Polish friend won't divulge

 

What is your favourite smell this month ?

 

Cumin - just seems to warm everything up and makes a soup so much richer

What home interior updates did you make this year ?

 

I painted three rooms in clay paint (Earthborn) ready for our Art Trail -
so good you could eat it and roll in it... transformed our home into a gorgeous and stylish one - we think

I'm now busy getting my hat show room in South Devon ready for festive
Thursday openings ( 2pm-6pm till Christmas .. )
