Hey - Hi - Yoh !!!!!
It feels sooooo good to be back typing and writing on this little blog of mine
I am so sorry for not being in touch and have missed my waffle therapy
Sadly - recently - the family were met with a very sudden heartbreaking time
I cannot say more than that and things are rather raw
and I will refrain from saying too much
and take comfort that at a time that we have been through
we unconditionally opened our arms and held each other closer than the day before
At the moment - we are getting through one day at a time
and doing what feels right - right now that feels like just taking five
and writing about pretty things and my vintage finds
So ..... here are some little updates
I have started clearing and creating quirky corners in my home
and at the moment am on the hunt for mismatched cushions for my whopper sofa
I simply adore my birds
and there is lots of creating happening in the garage too
I also had a bash at this lace canvas
which is far from finished
but nevertheless I have popped it on my wall
I want to add gold leaf (the cheapy version)
and some more texture
not really sure yet ..... we will see
I am also UBER excited - that I am now writing my Nancy Megan stories
and I have someone creating my first image of her
Yep - I see you scrunching up your nose and wondering why I would have her drawn
when I can draw myself
but to be honest I have found it so hard to draw her properly
and I am so so so fussy
plus
my favourite illustrations are The Little Princess
so I struggle to steer away from the images that I adore
Once she is created from photos and sketches
I will be able to tweak her if need be
but I am sure she will look super duper
and I will be able to create more and more stories and drawings
I have been managing to spend some time in the sun
and a bit of car boot action
Mum and I got a corner pitch last weekend
which we were so chuffed about
and sold rather well
I am in love with these lace necklaces
and always adore finds from Samantha Salway
I love clouds - Brooch from Jek in the Box
I am obsessed with these straws - I need some
I am rather looking forward to the beginning of X Factor
and yummy Gary Barlow
My lovely chums went to the audtions show

My little sis has been through such a tough time with all of us
and it has been lovely to have her near every day
and even though we are bigger sisters we still cwtch up
chat and giggle - and she never fails to make me laugh out loud loads
