My love for this colour blue is rather large

The weekend is around the corner
and I am armed and dangerously excited to make and create some projects

!!!!! I cannot wait !!!!!

Butterflies on my Toilet Paper

I TEND to be really good when it comes to marketing tricks on the TV
and buy things because I love them NOt because someone has told me that
I will look 10 years younger
Have the most perfect healthy bacteria in my tummy
and what the heck is boswelox in a skin cream
( I hardly ever swear on my blog as you know ..... so apologies - but surely that is utter BOLLOX ????? ) 

So - astute as I thought I was
I sat in front of my TV the other night
and an ad touched me, make me yelp with excitement and basically had me hook line and sinker

!!!!! TOILET PAPER WITH BUTTERFLIES ON !!!!!

I have lived ( and partied ...... and been out with VERY bad men )
but until Tuesday - I felt I had NEVER lived -
and my one sole purpose for going into the supermarket
was to hunt down said pack
and even demonically ask an assistant

 On asking WHERE it was and which ones were left
the guy looked vague and said he had not seen it before

I then did that - quivering laugh of disbelief and pending hysteria
'DON'T KNOHAHAHAW WHAT IT IS ?????!!!!!'

I rummaged with my one hand - in the other hand I had the poor chap nearing his 50s
and wondering f he was going to end his days in aisle 22
- by jikes he was gonna come and find some and feel how happy I had when I had seen it
( but on the flip side ..... he knew what neurotic tantrum was coming if it was not in stock .....
and I still had him attached to me !!!!! )

It was a crazy few minutes
and it was only when we were entering a brand heaven of padded, embossed, scented, cheapo
bum wiping bliss ..... that it sort of occured to me how many brands are out there
BUT
HANG ON
HAVE NOT GOT TIME FOR THAT
WHEHAHAHARE IS THE PACK !!!!!

AND
THEN

Like enduring a four hour labour
and having an utterly crap birthing partner who was not much help
if not to let me gouge chunks out of his arm in consumer pain
we pushed in between the quilted soft and aqua blue
many moans and groans and growls
I pulled out
oh so gently
and held it up in the air .....

was it stars ? butterflies ? spots ?

ahhhhh

Upcycling

 

I am so happy that I have finally hit on an idea for upcyling vintage glass
of which I have box loads
and just general day to day glass too

I have been making and creating here and there through the days
and am amassing a whole bunch of a new product line to pop in the shop
AND
I may open my etsy shop again
busy exciting times !!!!!
