Happy Feet

 Just when I thought it could not possibly happen
it has
and then it happened again ..... my car is double bust and in the garage.

 

1.
K opened the car door for me and took the handle of in his hand
?????

yep
?????

how on earth ?

 

2.
My wipers got stuck
the motor overheating
and STINKING of rubber
and a rather petrified me
hurtling down the M4 motorway
realising that I did not have an escape route should said car blow up
(no door handle - K etc)

 

to ..... luckily
rather than a cold, wet, roadside
and into the car park of The Village Hotel

 

After supping a coffee x 2
and sketching in reception
I was recovered by a man in a large orange mack and a large truck

 

oooooh the drama !!!!!

 

well ..... now that my little car will not be with me till friday
I have found the pleasure again of walking to the nearby supermarket
(i always forget)
and even though it feels odd not to have wheels, my feet are kinda ok with it all for now.

 

So onto an evening of

 

soup

 

a daft film

 

and on to to sleep
to
enjoy another day on the move - in a slightly different kinda way.
