Wooooo hooooo it's on it's way ..... 2008 !!! Goodness me has a year really passed us by. I think that the only downside of getting older is that time feels like it is speeding up and with so much to do that is a bit naughty me thinks.
I wanted to write a few lines today before putting my glad rags on and getting out into the night and partying.
Obviously it goes without saying that I wish you all a delightful New Year and that all your dreams, hopes and aspirations take shape and that you get as much laughter along the way as you can stomach.
Me ..... well I do not have resolutions ..... just very loose ones that all the awesome parts of my colourful, fun and sometimes dramatic life continue in abundance and that I smile as much as I do now.
I was not sure of what to leave as a little reminder of 2007, but seeing as I have found so much joy in indulging in my creative projects and stumbled on the superb site Etsy ( which I would like to say a big thank you to ). Etsy has brought me so much joy and another outlet for my creations. I thought that I would pass this little stage over to my favourite five Etsyians. Believe me I have hundreds, but with five being my lucky number I thought that I would whittle it down a tad.
So here they are .....
The first being Ashley Goldberg who was one of the first Etsyians that I found on the site and very quickly ... no questions asked ... bought this print.
Her style is so unique and she is such an interesting lady too, who, through reading her blog, made me think that I should join in with these blogging antics and I love it ... cheers Ashley.
My second fav is The Black Apple and I think that this is the print that I have my eye on for 2008 ...... called Pirate Girl.
Again ... such a talented young lady and I love all of her work too.
My third favourite that is for two reasons. Such a funny lovely lady at Sleeping Dog Studio and her beads are to die for. I bought some mid last year and still have a project in mind make a little creation with.
My fourth is this edgy little lady Carol Lee who makes cards that are so honest ( frighteningly ) but they do amuse me. I did buy some of these
but have yet to use them. I, after doing five driving tests, am pretty nifty at parking so bad parkers do nark me a bit ... but I never have the heart to put one of these cards on their car as I like my cards too much sitting in my bag looking cute.
and finally ..... these from Papaya
which are first on my shopping list in 2008 ..... oooooh that is tomorrow. Shop shop shop I will.
I wish all of these clever and talented creatives all the success for the future and to all Etsyians ..... it has been a pleasure to be amongst you.
So ..... now to say my goodbyes, wish you the bestest night ever with your loved ones, and when the clock chimes twelve I hope that you remember how good it feels to be here, happy and healthy.
Wishing you love, luck and happiness !!!!
